Jordan is Growing Up
So Jordan slowly is showing more and more initiative to be independent. I am very supportive and actually enjoy his independence, but today was a little different, and much more funny. I was busy and heard Jordan come out from quiet time and go into the bathroom. I thought he had finished and returned to his room until I kept hearing funny noises. I recognized the sound of my small vanity mirror clanging against the back of the toilet. I figured he was up to something, so I had to go and check it out. I got to the bathroom and saw him - standing beside the toilet, pants around the ankles, holding the mirror behind HIS behind to get a better "rear" view. He would get a good look in the mirror, replace it back on the toilet and wipe. Then start it all over again. I watched, holding back the laughter, and then offered my help. He emphatically replied "yes" and returned the mirror to the back of the toilet. I can't argue; it certainly wasn't a bad idea.

Braden's Sweet Tooth
You know when you have those moments as a parent when you don't know whether to hug them or spank them? Well, I had a moment like that today. But before I made my decision I had to take a picture of it.
I had gotten into the shower this morning and this is what I found when I got out. I didn't move a thing.....you gotta love KIDS! Not even a little effort to hide the evidence. I wonder when that attribute starts to manifest itself. Anyway I couldn't get mad. How can I blame him? We have super sized chocolate bars "hidden" in that drawer for me--sometimes you just need some Chocolate! Especially Hersheys! I think I'll go make some chocolate covered strawberries!

Our computer is FIXED!!!!!
So I haven't blogged for a while. Is it so bad that I enjoy reading everyone elses' blogs more than I like posting my own? I AM starting to feel a little guilty, so here's a little catching up.
Sleepy Jordan....aren't they cute when they're like that!
Whine-ey Braden! Seems like this is what he does half the time now!

My little Braden is soooooo good at feeding himself with a spoon. We can even give him cereal and he eats it like a champ.

Here is a cute picture of me and my hubby. There are many days when we only see each other coming and going. This was one of those:
Here is a cute picture of the boys wrestling. One of Jordan's favorite things to do!
We even had a birthday in the household. Jake turned 29! WOWZERS! Here is his breakfast. I tried to make him feel special on his special day!

I even made him this candy boquet. I thought about getting him flowers, but I thought he'd appreciate this more! My mom, Jordan, Braden, and I delivered him this boquet and lunch to him at work.
Jake and all his LOOT!
Here are the boys at the park recently. They sure have a good time.. I'm glad the weather has been cooperative. I think I even got a bit of a sunburn yesterday!
